Depending upon the size and scope of your project, this process may look different. From paint changes to bringing a home down to studs – we work with your specific needs. Some projects many not require all of these steps and we will communicate your project’s process prior to any agreements.
How it works:
1
Discovery
We get to know you, your space and your goals through the Client Questionnaire and initial discovery call.
3
Design Development
We will analyze architectural and structural needs then create plans and renderings with two revisions included.
5
Pre-Construction Planning
This is when we finalize the budget, timeline, and acquire any necessary permits in preparation for construction.
7
Final Walkthrough
We will walk through your space and ensure every detail is addressed.
2
On-Site Consultation
Allows the builder to understand the structure, feasibility, and cost drivers; and the contractor to understand vision and flow.
4
Selections
Final selections will be made for all cabinets, tile, fixtures, finishes, paint, etc. We will determine budget and lead times.
6
Construction
You can expect diligent communication and proactive oversight as we manage trades and timelines.
8
Completion
Finally, we deliver a cohesive space that matches your vision and meets your needs for years to come!

FAQs
What’s the first step to get started?
Reach out and we’ll set up a time to walk your space together. We will talk through what you want, what’s possible, and give you honest feedback right up front. We’ll guide you from there.
How do I know what’s realistic for my home and budget?
That’s exactly what we help with early on. We will walk your property, talk through your goals, and give you a clear sense of what makes the most impact for your investment. We provide real guidance so you can make confident decisions.
What happens after our first meeting?
We will outline next steps, including design concepts, pricing ranges, drawings, and selections. You’ll have all the information to know exactly where things stand and what comes next.
How long does a typical project take?
Every project is a little different, but we will give you a realistic timeline early on based on the scope. Smaller projects may take a few weeks, while larger remodels or additions can take several months. We plan ahead so construction runs as smoothly as possible.
Can we live in our home during construction?
For smaller projects or simple exterior work, sometimes yes. But for anything involving multiple rooms or major renovations, we do not typically recommend it. It can slow things down and make day-to-day life more stressful. We’ll always be honest about what makes the most sense for you and your project.
